# Stint

> Stint is a social mobile app that turns screen time into a competitive weekly league. Users compete with friends — or teammates — to see who can actually put their phone down.

Stint makes phone usage data social and competitive. It reads existing on-device screen time totals (iOS Screen Time / Android Usage Stats) and places users in friend or team leagues where they compete on goals like "least social media" or "fewest hours total." Results reset every week with sports-style leaderboards, streaks, and badges.

The app is currently in private beta with 4,200+ people on early access. It is iOS-first, with Android in beta.

## What Stint Does

- Connects to your phone's built-in screen time data (30 seconds to set up, no extra permissions)
- Places you in a weekly "league" with 3–8 friends or coworkers
- Tracks live standings and sends sports-style notifications ("You're 30 minutes behind Jake — Sunday results drop tonight")
- Announces a weekly winner every Sunday at 9 pm
- Supports multiple league types: least total usage, least social media, most productive apps

**Consumers:** Friend groups, couples, families, and group chats who want friendly accountability around phone habits — without the guilt-trip tone of traditional wellness apps.

**Teams / Enterprise:** Managers and HR teams running voluntary focus challenges for their staff. Team mode surfaces only aggregated averages — no individual data is ever visible to managers. Pilot data: +31% focused hours in week one, −2.4 hr average daily screen time after 4 weeks, 89% of pilot teams asked to continue.

## Pricing

- **Consumer:** Free with a 30-day trial — no credit card required.
- **Teams:** $4 per seat per month (billed annually). Volume discount above 100 seats ($3/seat). Includes anonymized weekly reports, custom league goals, SSO via Google or Okta, and a dedicated CSM above 100 seats.

## Privacy Model

Stint reads only category totals (e.g. "Social: 4h") — never content, contacts, or messages. Users choose per league what to share: total time, categories, or nothing. Data never leaves the league. Users can leave any time and their data is deleted on departure.
